The Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw Metlife Stadium Tailgate

Last summer Kenny Chesney did something no one believed was possible. A country act selling out Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. Not only did the stadium sell out but it was the largest country show in the history of the Garden State. Not bad for a cowboy hat wearing singer in a state where EDM reigns supreme. Saturday marked Chesney’s victory lap for the tri-state (he recently played a free show on the beach in Wildwood) and he brought along two heavy hitters, Tim McGraw and Jake Owen, to up the ante. For party bros in cut off t-shirts & cowboy hats and beautiful women in sundresses & cowboy boots the show at Metlife – or the tailgate to be exact – was the peak of summer.
