We are nearing kickoff – it’s less than an hour away – which means that we are also nearing this year’s Super Bowl National Anthem.

As I detailed several days ago, the great Kelly Clarkson is singing the National Anthem for Super Bowl XLVI. And just as we did last year for Christina Aguilera’s infamously botched anthem, we’ll be posting the video of Clarkson’s anthem here as soon after she completes it as we can.

I’ll also do a quick calculation of Clarkson’s anthem time so all of you who placed bets on it will know if you won or lost.

Kelly Clarkson National Anthem Video and Time

Check back here after about 5:25 CT to see Clarkson’s Anthem rendition if you miss it live. I’ll be recording the video and will post it ASAP.

Video coming. It’s uploading now…

Kelly Clarkson National Anthem Time: 1:34 (according to my calculations)

Note: I based my calculation from the first note she sang to the final note of “brave.”

The average of Clarkson’s last three solo renditions of the National Anthem at big sporting events is 1:32. The over-unders I saw were all set at 1:34, which was the length of her most recent rendition of last year’s World Series. We’ll see where she finishes at tonight.

Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post's poll.

Yes, I am getting this post ready early for SEO purposes, but I’m not going to leave you hanging. If you just have to listen to Kelly Clarkson sing the Star-Spangled Banner right now, below are three examples of Clarkson singing the National Anthem at big time sporting events.

Enjoy these videos until tonight’s rendition is sung and gets posted.
