PLAYERS: Justin Bieber

Via 5th Quarter Magazine:

The Telegraph reported that the Philippines may ban pop sensation Justin Bieber from entering the country.  The reason?  For making fun of boxer Manny Pacquiao, who is a congressman in the Philippines.

Apparently, the Biebs started posting pictures of Manny Pacquiao on his Instagram.  These photos are similar to the funny pictures that 5th Quarter Magazine recently talked about.  One picture that Justin Bieber posted was of Manny Pacquiao flat on his stomach after being knocked out with Simba from the Lion King holding him up.

The Philippine Congress thought that was disrespectful.  Several politicians filed a resolution to get Justin Bieber to apologize or risk getting banned from entering the country.

Those Filipino politicians need to get their act together.  They should focus on how corrupt that government is over there and stop worrying about what Justin Bieber is doing on his own Instagram.  We get the fact that Manny Pacquiao is a hero in the Philippines, but this is taking the situation way too far.

Bieber responded to the whole issue on Instagram by saying:

If they were Beliebers, I know they wouldn’t leave my side over a boxing opinion I have.

  • The Philippines government is acting foolishly, jokes are for the boxer not the congressman, if they cannot separate one and the other then these people are truly stupid and a bunch of sissies. Period!
  • the REAL joke is Bieber thinking he's some kind of champion.
