As Elin Nordegren continues to move on with her life after Tiger Woods, a recent report indicates she has made her way back into the world of professional sports. Nordegren broke up with Jamie Dingman a couple of months ago after some speculation that he was not being enough of a family man for her. Now, she has been linked to an NHL player.

According to Radar Online — which translated a report from the Swedish newspaper Expressen — Elin was recently spotted at a nightclub in Stockholm with Sharks defenseman Douglas Murray. The two also reportedly had dinner together in early July with Swedish pro golfer Jesper Parnevik, who is said to have set Nordegren up with Tiger. Murray, also a Swede, gave the standard response when the newspaper asked him for comment.

“We are only friends,” he said. “We are not dating and we have never dated. We have friends in common and we have only known each other for a couple of weeks.”

The seven-year NHL veteran was then asked if the relationship had the potential to become more intimate, to which he responded that he has “no comments.”

If Murray is hoping the relationship can develop into something more, he had better focus on not acting like a womanizer and not giving Elin any reason to believe he’s cheating on her.
