TCU star DE Fields suspended for first two games
TCU star defensive end Devonte Fields has been suspended for the first two games of the upcoming season.
Head coach Gary Patterson said in a statement that Fields was suspended for violating team and university policy.
The suspension means the Frogs will be without their best defensive player for their Aug. 31 game against LSU at Cowboys Stadium.

TCU unveils giant horned frog statue outside football stadium (Photo)
On Saturday, TCU unveiled a new status of a giant bronze horned frog outside Amon G. Carter Stadium in honor of the school mascot. Based on the photos, the statue will be a sight to behold by TCU fans when football season comes around this fall.
