South Florida fires Skip Holtz
South Florida fired Skip Holtz on Sunday after Holtz led the Bulls to 5 – 7 and 3 – 9 seasons.
Holtz accepted the job in 2010 and led the Bulls to an 8 – 5 season that year and win in the Meineke Car Care bowl. Apparently though, South Florida doesn’t want to stick it out and give Holtz a 4th season to redeem himself.

Skip Holtz to be fired from USF
According to Bullsradiosport, Skip Holtz is fired from the University of South Florida Bulls football team. A press conference is to be held at 1 PM EST to confirm the firing. Skip Holtz used to coach at ECU and is the son of Lou Holtz the legendary Notre Dame and South Carolina coach.
