CONNOR COOK RUMORS & GOSSIP
Michigan State quaterback Connor Cook almost wasn’t. Thankfully he did capture the QB1 job, because he ended up being the guy that helped the offense to mature and turn into a cohesive unit, that provided support to the nation’s #1…Read more →
If you haven’t read the original post on the story of Dallas Thornton, do so here.
This weekend, I had the honor of meeting up with the Thornton family members that made the trip to Indianapolis in their dad’s stead to watch the Spartans clinch the Rose Bowl berth that Dallas has been dreaming about his entire life. Of course, it was bitter sweet for them. While wandering...
Spartan fans are ecstatic for their upcoming trip to the Rose Bowl. So much so, that they are acting like idiots.
This article is not meant to take away from the Rose Bowl shine in any way. It is meant to make the case for why MSU should have been considered to play Florida State in the National Championship Game. Of course, it’s all moot now. But what fun is college football if...
Urban Meyer and Ohio State’s 24 game winning streak came to and end in Indianapolis on Saturday night with a 34-24 loss to Michigan State. The win caps off a dream season for the Spartans, sending them to their first Rose Bowl since 1988. The loss leaves Ohio State looking back at a 24 game win streak that is now in the past and ends without a BCS title or a Big Ten title. The...
So much for Ohio State rolling Michigan State in today’s Big Ten title game. The Spartans are all over the Buckeyes early, as MSU’s stingy defense held OSU’s offense to just 28 yards in the first quarter. Michigan State also scored the game’s first touchdown on a 72-yard pass from Connor Cook to Keith Mumphery. The score has the Spartans up 10-0 early in the second quarter.
The roses are blooming in East Lansing!
With the ever-nearing possibility that the Spartans will make it to their first Rose Bowl since 1988, this game counts! Not just for the Spartans, but also for the Buckeyes.
This Saturday in Indianapolis, Indiana, the #2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes will face the #10 ranked Michigan State Spartans.
If the Spartans leave with a victory, they’re...
EAST LANSING, MICH. -- Most people wouldn't have predicted that sophomore quarterback Connor Cook would be the one to lead the Michigan State Spartans to the Big Ten championship game.
But senior cornerback Darqueze Dennard is not most people.
"I was always high on Connor Cook," Dennard said. "When I saw him on scout team I always told him after practice keep...
The No. 11 Michigan State football team (11-1, 8-0) capped off a perfect Big Ten season Saturday with a 14-3 victory over Minnesota (8-4, 4-4), and will now move on to face Ohio State (12-0, 8-0) in the Big Ten Championship game.
With sophomore Connor Cook struggling at the helm of the quarterback position on the afternoon, the Spartans rolled with running back Jeremy Langford on...
Connor Cook threw for three touchdowns and Michigan State's defense locked down Illinois Saturday on the way to a 42-3 win.
The Spartans (7-1, 4-0 Big Ten) used a big defensive stand and a back-breaking drive to crush the Illini.
Illinois (3-4, 0-3) was trailing 7-3 midway through the second quarter when it failed twice to punch the ball in from the Spartans 1-yard line.

Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook overthrew receivers at an alarming rate for the first three quarters Saturday. He threw over or beyond at least five open receivers, and underthrew three...
