Arizona State will honor former football player Pat Tillman Thursday night at home against the Oregon Ducks with uniforms dedicated to the Sun Devil great:

The uniforms will feature Tillman's name on the back of every jersey, and the uniform colors are a throw back to the team's design which Tillman wore in the mid 1990's.
Tillman is known to sports fans as the star NFL player who chose to put aside his football career to enlist in the United States Army following the September 11 attacks of 2001. Tillman served in the war in Afghanistan, and was tragically killed due to friendly fire in 2004.
During his time as a football player, Tillman was named Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year in 1997 with ASU, and played four seasons in NFL with the Arizona Cardinals.
Football aside, it will be wonderful to ASU honor an absolute hero in Tillman Thursday night.
