D'Angelo Harrison, the captain and leading scorer for St. John's has been suspended for the rest of the regular season and any postseason tournaments, the university announced Friday.
Head coach Steve Lavin made the announcement without giving any reason for the suspension.

Orlando Sanchez, a 6-foot-9 junior college transfer who did not play this season at St. John's while the NCAA reviewed his eligibility, has been granted a final season and will play for the Red Storm in 2013-14.

Junior college transfer Marc-Antoine Bourgault has been declared eligible to play for St. John's and the 6-foot-6 shooter joined the Red Storm on Friday night in the Charleston Classic.
