The NCAA has turned down Notre Dame star Tim Abromaitis' request for a sixth year of eligibility.
The school confirmed the decision Wednesday and said there were no plans to appeal.

Sophomore Alex Dragicevich is transferring from Notre Dame.
The 6-foot-7 Dragicevich averaged 6.6 points in 34 games this season. The backup guard shot 39 percent from the field and 34 percent on 3-pointers. He scored in double figures seven times this season, including a career-high 22 points in a victory over Pitt in December.
