OMAHA, Neb. -- Josh Jones is hanging up his high tops for good. The senior guard on the Creighton mens basketball team has announced that his basketball career is over, the result of an atrial flutter discovered after the Omaha native fainted prior to warm-ups at Nebraska on Dec. 6th.

Creighton guard Josh Jones was taken to a Lincoln hospital for tests after passing out before the Bluejays' game against Nebraska.
Jones' condition wasn't known Thursday night. He had heart surgery in September 2007.
Coach Greg McDermott said after the game that Jones feinted during pregame warmups. He was taken out of the Devaney Center on a stretcher.

Creighton center Gregory Echenique intentionally fouls University of North Carolina forward Tyler Zeller during the third round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
