IT SEEMS INCREDIBLE but until this week, a Polynesian Football Hall of Fame didn’t exist. But when its inaugural class was announced on Wednesday, it came as no surprise that legendary Cougar quarterback Jack Thompson was named a member of the inaugural class.
AS HE SAT in the stands at Joe Albi Stadium last Saturday, several thoughts raced through Hall of Fame Washington State quarterback Jack Thompson’s mind. First off, that Cougar quarterbacks have some serious potential. And second, he kept asking himself “where in the heck was this offense in my playing days?”
