WWE.COM recently posted an article regarding the appearance of Triple H being apart of the entourage that accompanied Floyd Mayweather Jr. at yeterday’s boxing PPV. Below, Triple H comments on the reason he walked out with the boxing phenom.

“I’ve been friends with Floyd since [WrestleMania XXIV],” Hunter said. “Quite frankly, I was just going to see fight, and then he sent word that he wanted to see me before the fight and asked if I wanted to walk down to the ring with him.”

Triple H also further sold his “injury” and spoke on the way his company was providing “misinformation” regarding the injury he suffered from Brock Lesnar.

“It wasn’t just one thing that was broken. It’s complex and that’s why there’s misinformation.”

“I have to be able to take the brace on and off [to rehab],” he added. “Trust me, it was the last thing I wanted to wear while I was in Vegas trying to have a good time.”

Triple H also described how he felt about Floyd’s victory over Miguel Cotto; “I thought it was a phenomenal fight, I think Floyd rises to the occasion of every fighter he fights.”
