Since Adrien Broner burst onto the boxing scene comparisons have been made between himself and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Broner is seen by many fans to have a style similar to Mayweather though with a bit more explosive power. His antics outside of the ring make him seem like “Mayweather light,” as the same money flossing demeanor we have come to know Mayweather for is exhibited by the young Broner. It has caused a debate amongst boxing fans as to who between the two is the better fighter at age 23. Many would be quick to cite Mayweather, who at 23 was already a world champion and had a major career defining win against then undefeated Diego Corrales. Those on the Broner side would say the same of their man, have claimed titles at lightweight and super featherweight. It seems the argument will continue for quite some time and a definitive answer will never come about though one Shane Mosley chimes in on the subject and gives his opinion on the matter.
