Australian boxer Sam Soliman says his ''B'' sample of a recent doping test turned out negative and he will appeal a nine-month ban he was handed in Germany following an IBF middleweight fight on Feb. 1 in Duesseldorf. The German boxing association BDB, whose authority in the case is also being questioned by Soliman's legal team, changed the Australian boxer's unanimous points win over Felix Sturm to a no contest after saying an illegal stimulant had shown up on Soliman's ''A'' sample in a test before the fight. Soliman's camp said Thursday that the secondary sample did not show traces of any stimulant. Soliman said ''I'm overwhelmed by the support and even more overwhelmed by the news ... that my `B' sample was negative.''
