Former Olympic Gold Medal winner and two-time world champion Meldrick Taylor has been added to the Champions of Tomorrow Promotional team. The inaugural event will take place on Thursday night June 20th at the Deck in Essington, PA. Taylor, who captured Olympic Gold in 1984, went on to win the IBF Jr. Welterweight championship with a 12th round stoppage over Buddy McGirt on September 3, 1988.  Taylor defended the title twice before engaging his memorable fight with Julio Cesar Chavez.  Taylor went on to win WBA Welterweight title with a 12 round unanimous decision over Aaron Davis.  He defended that belt two times and challenged for the world championship on three more occasions.
