Leo Santa Cruz stormed his way to another world title last night as he battered Victor Terrazas en route to a third round stoppage. Santa Cruz was in control of the bout from the opening round as he pressured and crowded the former champion landing up to six punch combinations in the pocket. Terrazas would do his best to answer back but the sheer volume and pace of the young Santa Cruz would prove to be too much.
Marcos Villegas was able to catch up with Santa Cruz after his victory as he shares his excitement in becoming a two time world champion as well as promising to return back to action in November and states that he would not mind a fight with new featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez.
