Twitter trolls, beware. Curtis Woodhouse is on the case … and he just might inspire a few copycats. Woodhouse, a former professional soccer player turned professional boxer, got fed up with the constant abuse stream of abuse he received from one Twitter user, so he decided to pay the troll a visit and have a man-to-man chat. Woodhouse, 32, once graced the Premier League for Birmingham City and even played for England at the U-21 level. He retired from soccer at age 26 in 2006 saying he had lost his love for the game. He decided to return to his “first love” which was boxing. On Friday, Woodhhouse lost his English light-welterweight belt. The Twitter troll, who had been on his case since January, started with the abuse. The prize-fighter initially took it in stride, but he decided enough was enough on Monday. Woodhouse found out where the user lived and drove almost an hour to make the house-call. Much of the exchange was played out publicly on the social media network, and the predictable result of it all turned Woodhouse into a cult hero.
