Evander Kane doesn’t seem affected by the NHL lockout. That, or he’s a heck of a gambler. On Wednesday morning (around 4:45 a.m. local time), the Jets forward — who was the recipient of a brand-new contract before the lockout — tweeted out a picture of himself holding an impressive amount of cash while standing on a high balcony on the Las Vegas strip. Rocking sweatpants and a zip-up hoodie, Kane tries to reach out to boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr., another athlete who’s been known to show off his earnings via social media. Gary Lawless: Kane will be traded by Winnipeg….eventually

Ouch. My jaw. Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press believes that Evander Kane’s days in Winnipeg are numbered. Winnipeg Jets’ Evander Kane flashes stacks of cash in Twitter pic (PHOTO)

Evander Kane, a 21-year old winger for the Winnipeg Jets, apparently isn’t worried about winning back the fans.  Early Wednesday Kane tweeted...
