Hall of Fame Boxing Broadcaster Al Bernstein returns as a presenter on the Channel 5 boxing broadcasts for the Saturday, December 8 show featuring European Super Middleweight Champ James DeGale vs Fulgencio Zuniga. Fans throughout the United Kingdom see the Channel 5 broadcasts, promoted by Hennessy Sports. DeGale came back after a six month layoff to win his last match against Hadillah Mohoumadi and has his sights set on a world title shot in 2013. Columbia’s Fulgencio is a talented veteran who has fought the best at 175 and 168 pounds. Bernstein sees this as an important fight for DeGale. “Fulgencio as is still a very good fighter and DeGale now has shaken the ring rust from his previous layoff. So, a solid performance from DeGale would signal that he is ready for the upper echelon in a very tough super middleweight division,” Al said.
