A long time Maine hockey coach has resigned amid being one of the "johns" named during the first wave of names released on the Kennebunk prostitution scandal.
Kennebunk High School head hockey coach Donald Hill announced that he would not seek to renew his contract with the school a day before the names were released to the public. Hill had been with the school for 14 years.
Hill has confirmed that he was in fact on the list, but has declined to comment further on the story and has directed all questions towards him to his lawyer.
Several businessmen and the former mayor of South Portland, Maine were also on the list with Hill. The Kennebunk Police Department is expected to release more names by sometime next week.
The scenic tourist town located in southern Maine was shocked when Alexis Wright, a former Zumba instructor, was arrested and accused of operating a prostitution ring.
