Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray might have had one of the worst days ever for more than one reason.
Murray and the Bulldogs got thrashed by the South Carolina Gamecocks, 35-7, and after the game he found his home trashed by Georgia "fans". Murray's home that he shares with linebacker Christian Robinson was egged and rolled with toilet paper.
Then after that, Murray discovered that his father has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
Murray said on Twitter about his father's health, "Probably the worst 12 hours of my life but I know my family will push through. Keep my dad in your prayers please" (@aaronmurray11)
He also added, "Papa Murray is the strongest man I know. This morning is the first step to recovery. Praying God looks over him and the surgeons"
Murray's father underwent surgery today for thyroid cancer in Tampa and according to Aaron's sister, Stephanie, the surgery went well.
